Yes, the Ruger American Arca rail will work on both Gen1, Gen2, and Glenfield Model A. This works on all Ruger Americans, Predator, Ranch, etc..
The ARCA Rail itself does not need to be drilled. We have done that part for you, however you will have to drill your stock. Our kit comes with drill bushings for a seamless and easy install.
Our rails come in at 5.5", this was the most universal size that we found to work with many different magazine type, and long vs short action.
